Hi there! I'm Olga Goloven and I'd love to share a bit of my journey with you.

 

Until 2022, I worked full-time as a cookie decorator in Ukraine, sharing my passion for this art form through online classes.  That year, when the horrible war began, I had to make the hardest decision of my life — leaving my home to protect my children. We escaped to Chicago, and while we are safe now, starting over in a new country has been overwhelming. Like many newcomers, we’ve faced challenges, and I’ve had to step into a full-time role as a CEO Executive Assistant to make ends meet,but  I continue to pursue my passion for cookie decorating, offering custom designs and cakes to my local audience in my spare time.

The vibrant community in Chicago, with its rich tapestry of cultures and traditions, gave me endless inspiration to won 3d place at Julia M Usher competition at 2022 and 2024.

Despite the challenges to settle live in USA I hold onto the hope that one day I will return to my previous path, creating  the art of cookie decorating full-time once again.
